The City has a number of Boards and Commissions that were established to meet the needs of our residents while complying with various State Laws. Below is a listing of the current Boards and Commissions. Click on the link of the Board or Commission you wish to learn more about. Residents interested in voluntary community service are encouraged to consider contributing their time by serving. All Boards and Commissions vacancies are filled on a rolling (as available) basis. Board Members and Commissioners serve three-year terms and terms expire in January at which point the individual is eligible for reappointment.

Interviews for all City of Harper Woods Boards and Commissions are conducted by the City Council Interview Subcommittee. Additional details are included in the document below.
