The Department of Public Works, under the supervision of the Superintendent, follows:
- The maintenance of all streets, sidewalks and sign maintenance Sewer maintenance/repair, water line maintenance/repair, and catch basin maintenance/repair
- City tree maintenance and planting program
- Administers Garbage and Trash
- Fall leaf pick-up program; Storm damage clean-up
- Assists other City departments with their maintenance needs

*CONSTRUCTION UPDATES*
Joint and crack sealing
Project will begin Monday 5/11- locations will be cleaned and then sealed.
Work is scheduled between Beaconsfield / Harper Ave, from Woodmont up to -but not including- Country Club.
This project is expected to last approximately 2 weeks
Catch basin rehab / replacement
Storm system repairs will begin Friday, May 8. Locations are scattered throughout the city based on severity of condition.
Area concrete will be saw-cut and then repairs will take place. Residents affected will receive a notice taped to their door.
Please DO NOT remove barricades – the contractor will remove once the concrete is cured and testing has been completed. For the safety of the crews as well as you and your passengers, please use caution and patience when driving in these areas.
This project is expected to last approximately 6-8 weeks
